The Dragonfly Mystery

    Dragonfly ZK-AFB

Dragonfly ZK-AFB... missing with 5 people aboard

On February 12th, 1962, a DH Dragonfly aircraft ZK-AFB disappeared whilst on a tourist flight from Christchurch to Milford.

How, why and where the plane came down has been a mystery which has held the attention of aviation enthusiasts from around the world for almost 50 years.

Although many people have tried to find the disaster location over the years, we believe it is possible with modern search and rescue equipment to locate the site of ZK-AFB's final resting place.

This is our quest to locate the plane and its occupants, and to find out what took place on that tragic last trip.

    A risky business

Risking life and limb to bring closure to the families of
those lost when ZK-AFB went missing back in 1962.
We are searching  some of the most dangerous country
New Zealand has to offer. Dangling over 300ft bluffs
on a skinny rope is all part of our efforts to
    locate the missing plane

We will produce a Film of this search. It will make fasinating watching, we assure you. Its an incredble story... a story of love, hope, and adventure.

Visit the "How you can help" page to find out what you can do to be a part of this great Kiwi adventure.
